ok, so I am going to see what I can sew out of this piece….and I am weaving more now. Same warp, more saori. I really did not enjoy the pattern straight but I like throwing it in periodically along with some roving, yarn bits, and clasped weft.
I also tried some different treadling patterns. The warp is drafted as 1-2-1-4-3-4, which I think is Bird’s Eye. I used various warps and will Never Again use NZ Wool. It was bloody awful. Sticky and breaky. My achy breaky warp. Moving right along….when this warp is woven, I am selling this HD loom to a friend and starting up with a Burnhams Loom, bigger and hopefully better.
